Our Impact

This year we have donated baby knitted hats & blankets to both CHKD & Eastern Shore Migrant Ministry & adolescent size hats for cancer patients.

We also collected and crocheted large tote bags made from plastic bags (creating PLARN) that were delivered to widows in Kenya this winter.

One of our members has been the driving force to open the newest Hospice House in the Hampton Roads area.  For that deserving charity we have knitted/crocheted cotton wash cloths by the dozens to be given to every patient.

Our newest project is knitting or crocheting sweaters & blankets for dogs to benefit the Williamsburg Humane Society.  Several people have donated yarn for many of these projects which is greatly appreciated.

At each meeting food  items are collected & delivered to the Eastern Shore Food Pantry.

We are always open to new charity project ideas so please share your ideas and favorite passion projects for our guild consideration.
